SOUTH FLORIDA

In March 2009, John Rick Miller arrived in South Florida to meet with the hierarchy of the Church and request approval to establish the Mission in both the Archdiocese of Miami and the Archdiocese of West Palm Beach.

By the grace of God, the Mission, in collaboration with His Excellency Thomas Wenski, Archbishop of Miami, and the respective mayors, has successfully carried out the consecration of the 35 cities in Miami-Dade County, the city of Fort Lauderdale, the city of Hialeah, Key Biscayne, and Doral.

Relic images of Our Lady of Guadalupe have been enthroned in the following parishes: Santa Rosa de Lima in Miami, St. Agnes in Key Biscayne, San Isidro in Pompano Beach, and Holy Cross in Indiantown. Additionally, prayer cenacles have been formed, annual Guadalupan events are held, and the program of the enthronement of Our Lady of Guadalupe is presented in various parishes of the Archdiocese. Currently, the Mission has been formally established at the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Doral, Florida.

The remains of our founder, John Rick Miller, rest at the cemetery of Our Lady of Mercy: 11411 NW 25th St., Doral, FL 33172.
