TO THE MEMBERS OF THE MISSION, WE SUGGEST THE FOLLOWING DAILY PRACTICES:

  • In the morning, upon waking up, the first thing to do is renew your consecration and your family's consecration to God through the Morning Prayer, uniting your free will with God and asking Him that His Divine Will be done in you that day.

  • During the day, whatever you are doing, say over and over again, until it becomes a way of living: "Jesus, I love You."

  • Offer your work each day as a prayer to God for the conversion of sinners.

  • Pray for the gift of the Daily Mass. Once received, prepare yourself at least 10 minutes before each Mass to receive Our Lord, and give thanks for at least 5 minutes after receiving Him.

  • The daily Rosary, praying the joyful, sorrowful, and glorious mysteries, asking for the gift of understanding the Passion of Christ. (The luminous mysteries are at the discretion of each person).

  • Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament as frequently as possible, but at least once a week: 30 minutes of the Rosary and 30 minutes in silence.

  • Confession once a week or as often as possible.

  • Fasting on Wednesdays and Fridays, if possible, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, or as your circumstances allow.

  • Pray the prayers of St. Bridget for a year, at least once in your life.

  • Prayer and meditation on the Passion with the Stations of the Cross at least once a week.

  • In general, the members of the Mission commit each day to working towards:

  • Stopping offenses to God, especially in small things.

  • Not remaining silent in the face of evil, regardless of the consequences, even if we are the only little light in a world of darkness.

  • Working on our personal change, stopping the habit of blaming others for events in our lives, and instead, changing ourselves first.

  • Praying daily for the things that need to change in our society, city, and especially in our home; praying for those in our Government, especially for their leader; praying for our spouse, children, etc.

  • Praying daily for the souls in purgatory, for the Church, and for the conversion of sinners.

  • Remembering the poor, the sick, the elderly, and those who have no one.

  • Praying with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind, and praying also to love one another.

  • You must remember that these practices should be acquired gradually, one at a time. Go slowly, and once you feel comfortable with each activity, then add another element. Do not take on more than you can comfortably carry out, according to your state of life and personal circumstances.
