CUBA

In 2013, the Mission visited the Island of Cuba, bringing the message of the Love of God and requesting the Church’s authorization to establish itself on the Island. We met with the Apostolic Nuncio, with bishops from several dioceses, and priests, seeking the best way to present the Mission to the faithful under the difficult political conditions prevailing in the country.

Subsequently, the Secretary of the Cuban Episcopal Conference, Monsignor José Félix Pérez, and the Most Reverend Bishop of Pinar del Rio, Monsignor Jorge Enrique Serpa Pérez, attended the 4th International Congress of the Mission in Quito, where they shared the reality faced by the Catholic Church in the country; what they have been able to achieve through faith and trust in God, the intercession of Our Lady of Charity of Cobre, and the hard work of their priests.

We ask you to keep this country in your prayers so that the consecration to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary may become a reality and that the Mission's projects in the country may be carried out, if it is God's Will.
