GOOD WORKS

FAITH WITH WORKS

The Mission exhorts the faithful not to remain indifferent to the various situations and challenges facing society. Instead, it calls on everyone, according to the talents, gifts, and privileges God has given them, to be that small, lit candle that shows those around them that God exists and loves us: “Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead” (James 2:17).

In this way, the Mission promotes the following programs: Enthronement of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Homes, Missionary Action – Home Visits, Youth and Children's Groups, Groups of Arimatheans and Daughters of Mary Magdalene, Promotion of Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

We urge everyone to understand the current state of the world and recognize the need to confront evil when it knocks on our doors, enters our communities, infiltrates our laws and country, or seeks to consume the world.

This is our next covenant with God. As “Children of God,” we cannot remain silent, complacent, or fearful. Instead, we must raise our voices, united under God, to declare that what is wrong is wrong and will never be right, for God exists and loves us. Let us never forget that “the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing” (Edmund Burke).

For this reason, the Mission promotes various programs to encourage individuals to actively engage in this battle between good and evil in the world:

ENTHRONEMENT OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE IN HOMES

The home is one of the key battlegrounds for faith in these times. Many in the world are acting as though God does not exist, as though humanity is superior and can do whatever it pleases morally and ethically, seemingly without being accountable to anyone. It is within the home that we can make the necessary changes to begin returning to God in this world.

To the Mother of God, the Holy Trinity cannot say no. The world was entrusted to her at the Cross, and it is to this same Mother that we turn for the solution to the crisis of faith and family in today’s world… Read More

MISSIONARY ACTION — HOME VISITS

The urban missionary action (house-to-house visits) proposed by the Mission consists of 11 visits to families who have consecrated themselves and enthroned the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe in their homes. Through this program, families receive a simple and pure kerygmatic proclamation and are guided on how to establish certain daily life practices, enabling them to adopt a LIFE IN CHRIST.

PERPETUAL ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT

The Mission promotes the establishment of Perpetual Adoration Chapels.

Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration is a gift from God to His Church for this time. It is a gift that, when embraced, brings great benefits to the community and becomes a continuous source of graces and blessings, including an increase in religious vocations and a reduction in crime.

YOUTH AND CHILDREN'S GROUPS

We are aware that young people are under constant attack from the world; therefore, now more than ever, there is an urgent need to welcome them and illuminate their path in these times of darkness. For this reason, the Mission seeks to foster the spiritual growth of young people through various activities, helping them deepen their personal relationship with God as their Father and come to know and love the Virgin Mary as their Mother. In doing so, they become active members of their communities with a profound sense of service, especially to those most in need.

GROUPS OF ARIMATHEANS AND DAUGHTERS OF MARY MAGDALENE

They are businessmen and women who, in accordance with the talents, gifts, and privileges that God has given them, serve their community through prayer and good works, especially by supporting priests and religious sisters, respectively.
